The story

One man spends a day seeing his own struggles mirrored in the people he meets. Jim has a routine: the alarm, the coffee, a quiet nip of whisky. This morning his old friend Paul, back on his feet after a hard fight with drink, is giving him a lift to a job interview. Jim is the one everybody leans on. But Jim is carrying a weight of his own.
